Spaces – Our three striking reception rooms, Herringham Hall, Tuke Common Room and the Knapp Gallery make for the perfect drinks reception venue each in their own right. From grand, wooden panelling, to ever-changing art exhibitions adorning the surroundings, each of the hireable spaces acts as a canvas for both stand-alone events, or breakout networking spaces as part of your existing event at Regent’s.
It doesn’t get much more special in the summer months than a reception on our beautiful York Lawns or in our hidden Secret Garden. Between June and September, our lush gardens are host to an elegant, ivory marquee which can be used for eating, drinking, dancing and general merriment.
Entertainment – For a drinks reception on the York Lawns, organisers can really let their imaginations run wild! Do you want your guests to go on a treasure hunt? No problem. Play on an adult bouncy castle? Leave it with us. Spend the afternoon playing football or softball? Consider it done. Equally, if you’d rather go for a more understated choice of a string quartet and croquet match to accompany your drinks, the charm of the established gardens offers the perfect backdrop.
Drinks reception packages
Getting down to business, the key ingredient to hosting the ultimate drinks reception has got to be the drinks. Working with our in-house caterer, Vacherin, we are delighted to offer an extensive food and drinks menu with dedicated packages or bespoke, tailored alternatives designed to tantalise the taste-buds of guests.
Cheese and wine: A one-hour package is available for receptions, offering a selection of cheeses, biscuits, chutney, fruit, celery, house wine, mineral water and juices for just £22.50 per guest.
Canapés and drinks: For a minimum of 20 guests, we offer a one-hour package including two types of delectable canapés and two selected nibbles, along with unlimited drinks for as little as £26 per guest.
