Rural and educational venue for filming in London

Available year-round as a unique filming location set in London, Regent’s presents an outdoor space unlike any other. A magical setting is created over five acres of landscaped gardens for festival scenes, weddings, summer garden parties, and period drama filming set hire. Inside, the university’s spaces lend themselves to filming academic scenes for schools, lectures, conferences, or educational documentaries. Film the next Harry Potter sensation or James Bond leading series, with our incredible filming venue areas.

The building’s classic features, red brick architecture, and neatly adorned exterior with beautiful ivy and seasonal wisteria make for an impressive filming location set backdrop. Also with the filming location set being so close to south bank, Trafalgar square and canary wharf Regent’s makes the ideal filming venue location. A choice of more than 10 indoor spaces, a film studio, and full use of the outdoors, including a tennis and basketball court for sport-related filming opportunities, are available seven days a week from 6 am until 11 pm. In some cases, term time restrictions may apply for film site hire.

York Lawns

The blank canvas outdoor space offers four acres of pristine York Lawns, lush foliage and natural elegance for private filming set hire deemed ‘Best Outdoor Space’ at the 2019 Academic Venue Awards.

Secret Garden

A hidden gem in the depths of the gardens, this enclosed space offers a beautiful private setting to film garden party scenes, intimate gatherings and wellness retreats.

Herringham Hall

This room offers high ceilings and tall, arched windows – an impressive space which lends itself brilliantly to dynamic events including launches and parties.

Tuke Common Room

This filming location set is another signature space with original art deco features, wood paneling, and views over the lawns.

Kitchens

Well-equipped on-site kitchens could also be made available for cooking shows and competitions, or online classes.
