Regent’s University London undergoes change of ownership

Regent’s University London, among other education providers, was greatly affected by the pandemic, with a student demographic of 86% foreign nationals coming from 170 countries. The inability of students to travel to the UK created a challenge for Regent’s, however the online offer kept the students engaged.

An acquisition by Galileo Global Education – a French-Canadian Higher Education consortium who saw huge potential and synergies with their existing establishments, enabled Regent’s to avoid the worst impacts of the pandemic and to provide a stable platform for the University to grow. A consequence of this is that Regent’s University London is no longer a not-for-profit organisation but part of a new company – Regent’s University London Ltd. Regent’s Events will still trade under its existing name but is now part of RUL Ltd rather than a separate company.

Regent’s University London is now in the best position it has been in over the past decade which gives us a solid platform for growth for the future.
